Junior League of Fayetteville CAP Fund

Thank you for your interest in the Junior League of Fayetteville’s Community Assistance Program (CAP) Fund. The needs of our community have always been a priority to the Junior League. We are proud to answer some of those needs with our CAP Fund. The purposes of the CAP Fund are to enable the Junior League to respond to community requests for financial assistance involving critical human needs or emergency situations and to return money quickly to our community.

The following criteria have been established for consideration of CAP Fund requests:

  1. The Junior League’s focus area is children from birth to age 18.
  2. Applicant must be a non-profit organization.
  3. Applicant must be located in Cumberland County or the surrounding counties and serve Cumberland County residents.
  4. Maximum grant amount of $3000.00 per applicant is dependent on the number of applications received and the availability of funds.
  5. Requests for capital campaigns, fundraising, salaries, sectarian religious projects, scholarships, and long-term funding are not considered.

Application deadline is 12:00 PM, Monday, February 1, 2010. Applicant must submit Five (5) copies of the application and all required and/or pertinent information. Applications must be received in the Junior League office by the deadline dates. Applications received after the deadline date will not be considered.

Please fill out the Spring Application to apply for a CAP Fund grant completely. Please read all the information carefully. Applicant must submit detailed receipts in order to be reimbursed for CAP Fund monies spent, along with a summary about the project or services provided.
